Justine is a Clinical Psychologist based in Geelong, Victoria, offering evidence-based therapy for adults and couples seeking support with trauma, anxiety, relationships, and life transitions.
With extensive experience across private practice, public mental health, hospital, and forensic settings, Justine works with a wide range of psychological presentations. Her areas of practice include depression, anxiety disorders, short- and long-term trauma (including childhood trauma and sexual abuse recovery), adjustment difficulties, personality disorders, emotional regulation challenges, Neurodivergence, perinatal mental health (pre-, peri- and post-natal), relationship breakdown, divorce, and grief and loss.
Justine completed her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. Her early career included intensive clinical training across inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, followed by work in child psychiatry at Johannesburg General Hospital and forensic psychological services at Leeuwkop Maximum Correctional Centre. She later established and ran a busy private practice in Johannesburg before relocating to Australia in 2017.
Since moving to Australia, Justine has worked in both the public mental health sector at Barwon Health and within the Australian justice and correctional system, providing psychological assessment and treatment to individuals presenting with complex mental health needs, trauma histories, and forensic risk factors.
Since 2018, Justine has been in private practice in Geelong, where she has built a respected psychology service grounded in warmth, professionalism, and evidence-based care. She is deeply committed to creating a therapeutic space that feels safe, respectful, confidential, and deeply human — a place where clients feel heard without judgement and supported to explore even the most complex or painful experiences.
Justine views therapy as a collaborative process. She works alongside clients to build insight, strengthen emotional resilience, process trauma, improve relationship functioning, and create meaningful, sustainable change so they can feel more grounded and confident in their lives.
